About ESBR Rubber Powder

Tapryl (ESBR Rubber) is a polymeric agent which is used for the production of rubber products especially for tires, rubber tubes, shoe soles, cables, hoses, conveyor belts and other mechanical elastic products. This white coloured fine powder has a controlled branched chain structure which results in good adhesive characteristics and better dissolution in organic solvents. Tapryl (ESBR Rubber) Powder is produced by the hot emulsion polymerization using fatty acids as an emulsifier and calcium carbonate which reduces agglomeration. It has a solution viscosity of 260 centi-poise with a maximum shrinkage percentage of 35 percent.

Exceptional Application Versatility

ESBR Rubber Powder is tailored for a diverse range of industrial applications, including the production of tires, footwear, hoses, belts, and automotive components. Its superior elasticity and abrasion resistance ensure optimal performance in products exposed to continuous stress and environmental factors.

Eco-Friendly and High Purity Material

Manufactured from styrene butadiene rubber with a purity greater than 95%, this powder presents an eco-friendly solution for manufacturers seeking sustainable raw materials. Its compliance with RoHS standards and minimal volatile matter underline its environmental safety and reliability.

Optimal Physical and Chemical Properties

With a bulk density between 0.45 and 0.60 g/cm, fine granular finish, and dark grey to black color, ESBR Rubber Powder is engineered for efficient blending and consistent performance. Its excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, low moisture and water absorption, and high tensile strength make it a preferred choice in quality-centric industrial processes.

FAQs of ESBR Rubber Powder:

Q: How should ESBR Rubber Powder be stored to maintain its shelf life?

A: Store ESBR Rubber Powder in a cool, dry place within its original sealed HDPE packaging. This ensures that the powder remains free from moisture and preserves its shelf life of 12 months.

Q: What industrial processes commonly use ESBR Rubber Powder?

A: It is widely incorporated in the production of tires, rubber footwear, conveyor belts, hoses, and various automotive parts due to its fine granular style, high elasticity, and abrasion-resistant properties.

Q: When is it beneficial to use ESBR Rubber Powder over natural rubber?

A: ESBR Rubber Powder is ideal when excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, eco-friendliness, and cost-effectiveness are required. Unlike natural rubber, ESBR offers predictable mechanical properties and RoHS-compliant safety.

Q: Where can ESBR Rubber Powder be applied within the automotive industry?

A: Automotive manufacturers utilize ESBR Rubber Powder in components such as seals, hoses, belts, and vibration dampening parts, leveraging its resistance to chemicals, temperature extremes, and mechanical stress.

Q: What is the process for integrating ESBR Rubber Powder into manufacturing?

A: Manufacturers blend ESBR Rubber Powder directly into rubber compounds. The fine granular nature and controlled particle size facilitate uniform mixing, improving final product performance and consistency.

Q: How does ESBR Rubber Powder benefit manufacturers environmentally?

A: This powder is made from recovered rubber, contributing to recycling efforts. It is lead-free, eco-friendly, and complies with RoHS standards, supporting sustainable production practices.

Q: What are the recommended packaging and typical bag weights for ESBR Rubber Powder shipment?

A: ESBR Rubber Powder is packaged in HDPE bags, each weighing 25 kilograms, to ensure safe transport, secure handling, and protection against contamination.
